Prof. Michal Marianne Amitai
Michal Marianne Amitai received the MD degree in medicine from Tel Aviv University in 1983.
Completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the Sheba Medical Center.
Further was one of the first israeli radiologist to accomplish a two year Fellowship in Cross Sectional Abdominal Imaging including US, CT and abdominal MRI, at Toronto University Health Network 1999-2001 Head of Abdominal imaging service since 2011.
Professor of radiology at Tel Aviv University, she is involved in teaching radiology to undergraduate as well as postgraduate students.

Prof Amitai main interests are patient care, teaching and research.
Active in research and patients care in various fields of Radiology particularly: emergency, oncology, gastrointestinal including liver and pancreas imaging. Leading expertise in imaging of small bowel in Crohn's disease patient and MR Enterography and pioneer in establishing hospital service of Virtual colonoscopy.
Envoled in collaboration with the bio medical engineering department in Tel Aviv University r searching Automated image analysis
Active member in the scientific committee of the Franco-Israélienne Annual Meeting d’Imagerie Médicale (AFIIM) and also the annual French-Israeli Course in Radiology
Member of the Israeli Board Examination Committee
Active member of RSNA Radiologic Society of North America
Esgar European society of gastrointestinal radiology
Member of the scientific and organizing committee of the Annual International Meeting of the Israeli Radiological Association
ESR European society of radiology
Prof MM Amitai has published more than 82 peer-reviewed articles and over 80 presentations in national and international conference.
